Expert Tips

  • For cut-up cooked chicken in a hurry, pick up a store-bought deli rotisserie chicken, or keep a package of frozen fully cooked chicken breast strips in your freezer. Heat frozen strips as directed on package, and cut into pieces for this salad.
  • Try this salad using 1 1/2 cups red grapes, halved, in place of the apple in this recipe.
