box (9 oz) Green Giant® frozen spinach

package (3 oz) cream cheese, softened
1/2
cup sour cream
1
tablespoon zesty Italian dressing mix (from 0.6-oz packet)
Assorted vegetables or crackers
  • 1 Cook spinach as directed on package. Cool; squeeze to drain.
  • 2 In medium bowl, mix spinach, cream cheese, sour cream and dressing mix until well blended.
  • 3 Cover; refrigerate at least 2 hour or until chilled. Serve with vegetables or crackers.

I didn't know that the Phili Cream cheese actually came in a 3 oz. package. It's very tiny and can easily be overlooked in the grocery store. I just made this dip. I added a small amount of dill weed. It tasted good and I hadn't even put it in the fridge yet.

well, after it chilled it had too much italian seasoning. Italian seasoning is very strong. But i really like teh Spinach dip made with cream cheese instead of mayo.
