EXPERT TIPS

Expert Tips

A nonmetal dish is best for marinating. Most marinades contain acidic ingredients, such as vinegar or lemon or lime juice, which react with metal, causing off flavors in the food and possibly damaging the container.

Strawberries are a great source of vitamin C. One cup provides 85 milligrams; the minimum needed for good health is 60 milligrams each day.
