I just made these and they did not turn out very well. The middle of the cookie was very doughy and they did not have much taste. Maybe I made them too large or didn't cook them long enough, but I 'm not sure if I'll even bother to make them again. They were fairly good overall.

I made them as the ingredients called for, but stirring by spoon was a must at the middle. It bogged down my mixer. The flavor is fantastic!! Yes the orange candy makes them chewy but you have to chew it any how, it is not a melt in your mouth cookie. I made several dozen for my cookie give away for chritmas. I did not frost them I wanted the orange piece to be seen. I recommend this recipe to anyone that loves oranges.

Wanted to make at Christmas time but didn't get time. Made them the other day when we had a snow day and brought to work. They all loved them even all the men! Easy to make, I added a little vegetable oil and orange extract to icing.
