Expert Tips

“I’ve always been a breakfast eater, and I generally eat Cheerios for breakfast, but I like them even better in this great-tasting smoothie.” Kevin W.

Besides being very refreshing, this smoothie contains cholesterol-lowering oats and flaxseed—so beneficial for heart health—and is a good source of both soluble and insoluble fiber. What more could you ask of any breakfast food?

This smoothie was delicious! Next time I would use frozen fruit instead, because I like my smoothies to be a little colder. Overall it's awesome though!

very yummy! I tweaked mine to work with ingredients I had available.. honey nut cherrios, vanilla yogart, frozen blackberries and i used a whole banana instead of a half. When I opted to make a smoothie for breakfast my three year old loved it!
