Ingredients

packages (8 oz each) cream cheese, softened

cups shredded deli rotisserie chicken

cup Frank's™ RedHot™ Original cayenne pepper sauce
1
cup blue cheese dressing or ranch dressing
1
cup shredded mozzarella cheese (4 oz)
1/2
cup crumbled blue cheese (2 oz)
Toasted sliced bread, crackers or celery sticks, as desired

    In slow cooker, add cream cheese and 1 cup of the chicken. Top with 1/2 cup of the hot sauce and 1/2 cup of the dressing. Top with remaining 1 cup chicken, 1/2 cup hot sauce and 1/2 cup dressing.

    Sprinkle mozzarella cheese and blue cheese over top. Cover and cook on Low heat setting about 2 hours or until warmed through and cheese is melted.

    Serve warm with remaining ingredients.

  • A slow-cooker is an under-appreciated party appliance. You can cook in it, keep food warm in it, serve from it, and transport food in one if needed. A large one is great for a crowd, while there are much smaller versions made for keeping dips warm.
  • Once the dip is nice and hot, you can scoop it into one or two hollowed-out large round loaves of crusty bread. Use a short, serrated knife to carve out the bread, then cut it into cubes. Toast the bread cubes spread out on a rimmed baking sheet just until crisp and lightly browned. Use short-bamboo skewers to dip the toasted bread, celery, and carrot sticks in the dip.
  • Don’t forget to have more Buffalo cayenne pepper sauce close by—you may have a guest with super-hot taste buds.
  • Take advantage of leftover roast or grilled chicken or grab a can of chunk chicken off your pantry shelf.
  • Keep slow cooker on Warm heat setting for a party so guests can serve themselves warm fresh dip straight from the slow cooker.
  • You can use cooked shredded chicken breast in place of rotisserie chicken, if desired.
