How to Make Impossibly Easy Spinach and Feta Pie

Get ready to whip up a truly impossibly easy dinner with our Impossibly Easy Spinach and Feta Pie! Here are the simple steps, packed with tips and tricks to ensure your cheesy pie is a resounding success. See the full recipe below for all the details.

1. Prepare the Oven and Pie Plate

Heat your oven and generously grease a 9-inch pie plate with cooking spray. This step is crucial to ensure your cheesy pie does not stick and can be easily removed for serving.

2. Combine the Filling Ingredients

Thoroughly squeeze any excess water out of your spinach (this prevents the pie from becoming watery). Then mix with the crumbled feta cheese and green onion directly in the pie plate.

3. Prepare the Bisquick Batter

In a separate bowl, mix remaining ingredients until they are just blended. Don't overmix, stirring until just combined is key to achieving the light, fluffy crust.

4. Assemble and Bake

Bake and cool for 5 minutes to allow it to set up for easy slicing and serving.

How to Store (and Reheat) Impossibly Easy Spinach and Feta Pie

To keep your Impossibly Easy Spinach and Feta Pie fresh and delicious, proper storage is key.

Refrigerator

Allow your pie to cool completely. Once cooled, place in an airtight container or cover tightly with plastic wrap or aluminum foil. Store in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.

Freezer

The Impossibly Easy Spinach and Feta Pie freezes well. Once cooled, you can freeze the entire pie or individual slices. Wrap tightly in plastic wrap, then add an additional layer of heavy-duty aluminum foil. This double layer helps prevent freezer burn and maintains the pie's quality. Store in the freezer for up to 2 months.

Thawing & Reheating

To enjoy, transfer the frozen pie or slices to the refrigerator and let thaw overnight. Once thawed, you can reheat individual slices in the microwave or warm the entire pie in a 300°F oven until heated through.
