Ingredients

Steps

  • 1
Heat oven to 350°F. Spray 9-inch square pan with cooking spray.
  • 2
In large bowl, mix cookie mix, butter, egg and dry pudding mix with spoon until soft dough forms. Stir in chopped chocolates. Press evenly in pan.
  • 3
Bake 28 to 32 minutes or until golden brown. Cool completely, about 1 hour. Cut into 4 rows by 4 rows. Store in airtight container at room temperature.

Tips from the Betty Crocker Kitchens

  • tip 1
Try a chocolate drizzle for a more decorated look. In small microwavable bowl, microwave 2 tablespoons semisweet chocolate chips uncovered on High 20 to 30 seconds or until chocolate is thin enough to drizzle. Using fork, drizzle over bars. Let stand about 2 hours or until chocolate is set.
  • tip 2
The secret for cutting bars easily is to line pan with heavy-duty or nonstick foil. When it is time to cut bars, just lift baked bar with foil out of pan, and cut. This also makes cleanup extra easy.
