Recipe Ingredients

Let's dive into the simple yet brilliant ingredients that make these Cake Mix Chocolate Chip Cookies a game-changer for your cookie cravings!

Yellow Cake Mix: It replaces the need to measure out flour, sugar, and leavening agents, saving you time and effort.

Butter: It gives these cookies that rich, classic, homemade cookie taste.

Milk: Just a little bit of milk helps bring the dough together, adding the necessary moisture to turn the dry cake mix into a workable cookie dough.

Vanilla: It adds a warm, aromatic depth that makes a huge difference.

Egg: The trusty binder providing structure, so your cookies don't crumble apart.

Chopped Nuts: Nuts like walnuts or pecans add a fantastic textural contrast to the soft cookie and gooey chocolate. If you're not a nut fan, feel free to leave them out for a classic cake mix chocolate chip cookie.

Semisweet Chocolate Chips: Semisweet chips offer a perfect balance, so the cookies are sweet but not too sweet.
