No-Bake Tomato Skillet Lasagna

lb ground Italian sausage

pouch (9 oz) Progresso™ Recipe Starters™ fire roasted tomato cooking sauce

cups uncooked mini lasagna (mafalda) noodles or medium egg noodles (6 oz)
1
cup four-cheese blend (4 oz)

Directions

  • 1 Cook Italian sausage in 12-inch skillet over medium-high heat 5 to 7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until thoroughly cooked; drain.
  • 2 Stir in 2 cups water, the cooking sauce and noodles. Heat to boiling, stirring occasionally. Reduce heat to medium.
  • 3 Simmer uncovered about 10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until pasta is tender. Remove from heat; sprinkle with cheese. Cover, let stand 2 to 3 minutes or until cheese is melted.
