Add a little pep to veggies with crunchy cereal and lemon-pepper seasoning.
bag (1 lb) frozen cauliflower nuggets, carrots and pea pods
cups Country® Corn Flakes cereal, coarsely crushed (1/2 cup)
tablespoon butter or margarine, melted
teaspoon lemon-pepper seasoning
Cook frozen vegetables as directed on package; drain well.
Just before serving, in small bowl, mix crushed cereal, butter and lemon-pepper seasoning. Sprinkle over vegetables; stir to coat. Serve immediately.
No lemon-pepper seasoning? Mix 1/4 teaspoon pepper and 1/4 teaspoon grated lemon peel.
Drain the vegetables well so the coating mixture stays crunchy.
