Tomato Basil Meatball Skillet

Frozen meatballs and fresh basil are a great combination for a quick and easy 4-ingredient skillet dinner. MORE + LESS -

Ingredients

box Hamburger Helper™ tomato basil penne

lb frozen cooked meatballs

cup shredded mozzarella cheese (4 oz)

tablespoons chopped fresh basil leaves

    In 12-inch nonstick skillet, add hot water and sauce mix (from Hamburger Helper™ box); stir to combine. Stir in uncooked pasta (from Hamburger Helper™ box) and frozen meatballs. Heat to boiling, stirring occasionally. Reduce heat; cover and simmer about 12 minutes, stirring occasionally, until pasta is tender and sauce is thick. Remove from heat.

    Top with cheese and basil; cover and let stand 2 to 3 minutes or until cheese is melted.

Expert Tips

  • Try frozen Italian seasoned meatballs. Same convenience, different taste.
  • Top off the skillet dinner with crunchy garlic croutons – added flavor and crunch!
  • Make it fancy by spooning the mixture onto a platter. Top with cheese and basil. To melt the cheese, cover loosely with foil.
