Expert Tips

  • Let your sugar cookie bars cool completely before you add your frosting. Frosting won’t set as well if your cookie bars are too warm.
  • Get creative! Easily change the color by adding a couple drops of food coloring to your frosting. Or just switch up your sprinkles to easily make them special for your favorite holiday or special celebration.
  • Don’t throw your butter wrapper away immediately - instead use it to help press the sticky cookie dough into the pan easier.
  • Lift your cookie bars out of the pans easier using cooking parchment paper with overhanging sides to lift the sugar cookie bars out of the pan.
