Our root beer and rum concoction is topped with toasted marshmallows for a fun Halloween cocktail!

    cup spiced rum
  • 4
    cups root beer, chilled
  • 12
    to 16 large marshmallows

    In each of 4 glasses, pour 1/4 cup rum. Fill each with cold root beer.

    Garnish top of each glass with marshmallows. Using kitchen torch, lightly toast tops of marshmallows. Serve with straws.

  • Instead of using a kitchen torch to toast the tops of the marshmallows, carefully toast the marshmallows separately (not in the glass) under a broiler for about 1 minute. However, be sure to watch closely as they will toast quickly.
  • Replace spiced rum with gold or dark rum, if desired.
