Expert Tips

  • Change the look and flavor of your monster cookies by substituting in a different kind of nut, adding in raisins, or substituting butterscotch or white chocolate chips instead of classic chocolate. There are countless ways you can customize this simple and delicious recipe to make it your own.
  • Transform these monster cookie bars easily into Christmas monster cookies bars by sticking to only green and red M&M's®!
  • Make both cutting your bars and then cleaning up afterward a breeze. Line the pan with heavy-duty or nonstick foil making sure to let the foil be higher on the pan than the cookie bar mix. After baking when it is time to cut the bars, just use the foil to lift the baked cookie bar out of the pan and then cut your pieces.
