Ingredients

packages (10 ounces each) frozen cut asparagus, thawed and well drained

medium green onions, sliced (1/2 cup)

cups shredded Swiss cheese (12 ounces)

cans (6 to 7 1/2 ounces each) salmon or tuna, drained and flaked

cups Original Bisquick™ mix
1 1/2
cups milk

tablespoon chopped fresh or 1 teaspoon dried basil leaves

teaspoon pepper

    Heat oven to 400º. Spray rectangular baking dish, 13x9x2 inches, with cooking spray. Sprinkle asparagus, onions, 1 1/2 cups of the cheese and the salmon in baking dish.

    Stir remaining ingredients except cheese until blended. Pour into baking dish.
  • 3
    Bake 40 to 45 minutes or until knife inserted in center comes out clean. Sprinkle with remaining 1 1/2 cups cheese. Bake about 2 minutes or until cheese is melted. Cool 5 minutes before cutting.

  • Cover the assembled dish and refrigerate overnight. To serve, uncover and bake 50 to 55 minutes.
  • Savory Impossibly Easy Pies can be covered and refrigerated up to 24 hours before baking. You may need to bake a bit longer than the recipe directs since you’ll be starting with a cold pie. Watch carefully for doneness.
