Broccoli and Cheese Skillet

Cheese with broccoli is simply too good to resist. Adding cheese is a great way to get kids to eat their veggies!

Ingredients

  • 1 pound lean ground beef
  • 1 package Hamburger Helper™ cheeseburger macaroni
  • 1 cup milk
  • 3 cups hot water
  • 1 package (10 ounces) frozen chopped broccoli
  • 1 package (3 ounces) cream cheese, cut into cubes

Steps

    Brown ground beef in 10-inch skillet; drain.
  • 2
    Stir in uncooked Pasta, Sauce Mix, milk, water and broccoli. Heat to boiling, stirring occasionally. Stir in cream cheese; reduce heat.

    Cover and simmer 13 to 15 minutes, stirring occasionally; remove from heat. Uncover and let stand about 5 minutes or until sauce is as thick as you'd like. Stir before serving.

    Low-fat cream cheese works in place of regular, but don’t bother using the fat-free variety. Fat-free cream cheese won’t melt into a smooth, creamy sauce.
