Expert Tips

Pungently sweet and dark in color, balsamic vinegar gets its characteristics from a long aging process in wooden barrels.

Try a bottled balsamic vinaigrette if you don't have time to make this dressing from scratch.

My family really likes Balsamic Vinegar. This is a wonderful way to use it. All the flavors blend wonderfully! This didn't make 4 servings for us though; definitely need to double it next time.

I love, love, LOVE this recipe!! I usually omit the carrots and add more balsamic vinegar - but that's only because I LOVE balsamic vinegar!! Goes great with chicken, or even on it's own!
