3: tablespoons butter or margarine

1: bag (10 oz) marshmallows

5: cups Golden Grahams® cereal

Directions

1 Grease bottom and sides of 9-inch square pan with shortening, or spray with cooking spray.
2 In 3-quart saucepan, heat peanut butter, butter and marshmallows, stirring constantly, until melted; remove from heat. Gently stir in cereal, 1 cup at a time, until evenly coated.
3 Press mixture evenly in pan with buttered spatula. Cool completely, about 30 minutes. For bars, cut into 6 rows by 3 rows.

My kids love the cereal bars you buy at the store. But with the economy we have had to cut back on certain treats. But being able to make treats similar to the one already made they don't realize there even missing them. Also you can melt 1 cup of choco chips and drizzle on the top. MMMMMMM!!!!!! Good.

My husband enjoyed this very much and it was a nice alternative to rice crispy treats, however he still prefers the originals over these. It was easy to make and I'll re-prepare this dessert again per the instructions.
