Expert Tips

This spiced fruit chutney can be made several days ahead. Be sure to keep it covered in the refrigerator.

Make extra chutney, package it in a pretty jar and give it as a hostess gift. It is delicious served with turkey or ham.

Toasting nuts brings out the subtle flavor of nuts and also makes them more crunchy.

This recipe is amazing. I have also used the chutney on top of brie served with toasted baguettes and it is a favorite at our annual Christmas Party!!
