I made this salad for Memorial Day Cookout. It was a big hit. I was half gone before I knew it. The recipe was definitely desired. Very easy to make. I did serve the chips on the side it was easier for people to take the salad with a serving spoon and then add the chips

I made this salad for our 4th July bar-b-que. It was very good and it easily served a crowd. I didn't put the chips in the salad because i didn't want them to be soggy. I just served them along side.

I made this salad for a July 4th picnic. Everyone loved it! It was a nice change from your typical tossed salad. I was worried that it would need dressing, but it was so tasty just the way it was. Instead of Doritos, I used blue corn tortilla chips.
