3
tablespoons butter or margarine
1

cup Progresso® garlic herb bread crumbs
1
lb chicken breast tenders (not breaded), cut into 1-inch pieces (about 50 pieces)

  • 1 Heat oven to 400°F. Line cookie sheet with foil or cooking parchment paper; spray foil or paper with cooking spray.
  • 2 In medium microwavable bowl, mix 1/4 cup honey mustard, the butter and garlic salt. Microwave uncovered on High 45 to 60 seconds or until butter is melted.
  • 3 Place bread crumbs in large resealable plastic food-storage bag. Add chicken pieces to mustard mixture; stir to coat. Shake chicken pieces in bag of bread crumbs until coated. Place on cookie sheet. Discard any remaining honey mustard and bread crumbs.

Expert Tips

Try different dipping sauces like ranch dressing, spaghetti or barbecue sauce, or maple syrup with these coated chicken bites.

Coat the chicken pieces 2 to 3 hours before baking, then cover and refrigerate until it's time to bake them.

I made the recipe with chicken thighs and just tripled the amounts of each of the ingredients since there were 3lbs of chicken. Came out very good. Would recommend the recipe to anyone.

Very good recipe! My husband and kids loved these! My husband is a big mustard fan, so he was very impressed with this recipe. My kids liked dipping these yummy tidbits in ranch dressing. It is a very easy recipe and makes a lot! I cut mine in nugget size since I have small children and it turned out very good-completely cooked through in 20 min. Already added this one to my recipe file!
