EXPERT TIPS

Expert Tips

Instead of tossing the salad together in a bowl, try an arranged presentation. Slice the tomatoes and arrange colors alternately with onion on a decorative platter. Drizzle the dressing over the top and sprinkle with the fresh herbs.

Tomatoes and herbs picked fresh from the garden today, made this for dinner. Added grated Parmesan Cheese and let it meld in the fridge about an hour. Very tasty!!!

What an excellent fresh salad! We made this yesterday and my sister raved over it!! I would suggest using a Vidalia onion for a more mild flavor and also to make it up just before it is to be served. When you make up the dressing, it may not seem like there will be enough, but it is enough!! Enjoy!
