Expert Tips

Fat-free mayo and skim milk make for a reduced-fat--but delicious--salad.

Give the pea pods style by cutting them diagonally.

this is easy but needed a little more flavor, so i doctored it up a bit. i like my creamy salads a little creamier so i added more mayo. i also added parmesan cheese and some garlic salt. before serving i added some croutons. then it was really good.

I made a batch of this this for a family potluck, quadrupling the recipe. It was quick, nutritious, easy and colorful. A good way to get vegetables while limiting the amount of pasta(carbs). This is very colorful and I especially liked the use of the Snow-Pea-Pods. I topped it off with a little bit of Red Bell pepper I thought this had great flavor and color. My whole family (even the grand children loved this. Nothing strange or different to be ''picked out'' and left on the plate by anyone. There wasn''t even a taste left over. I will deffinitely be serving this in the future.
