Made with buttermilk, fresh herbs and mayonnaise, our homemade green goddess dressing is the perfect complement to your favorite salad.

Ingredients

3/4
cup mayonnaise
1/2
cup buttermilk
1/2
cup finely chopped fresh Italian (flat-leaf) parsley
1/4
cup finely chopped fresh chives
1/4
cup finely chopped fresh tarragon leaves
2
tablespoons lemon juice
2
teaspoons anchovy paste
1
teaspoon finely chopped garlic
Salt and pepper to taste

Directions

  • 1 In 3-cup or larger jar with tight-fitting lid, place all ingredients. Seal jar; shake vigorously until ingredients are well combined.
  • 2 Pour dressing over your favorite salad. Store in refrigerator up to 1 week.

Expert Tips

Be sure to chop the fresh herbs as finely as possible so their flavors can be imparted throughout the dressing.

Don’t be locked in by the recipe measurements—adjust the ingredients to your taste!
