Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 1/4 teaspoon vanilla
  • 4 cups Cheerios™ cereal
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

    In large microwavable bowl, microwave butter uncovered on High about 45 seconds or until melted. Stir in vanilla. Add cereal; mix well.

    Microwave uncovered on High 3 to 4 minutes, stirring every minute. Stir in sugar and cinnamon; toss well to coat. Store tightly covered at room temperature.

    Stovetop Method: In 10-inch skillet, melt butter over low heat. Stir in vanilla. Add cereal; cook and stir 2 to 3 minutes or until cereal is well coated. Transfer cereal to large bowl. Add sugar and cinnamon to cereal in bowl; toss well to coat.
