  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla

Steps

  • 1
Beat butter in medium bowl on medium speed until fluffy. Beat in peanut butter, 1/2 cup of the powdered sugar, the milk and vanilla. Gradually beat in remaining 3 1/2 cups powdered sugar, beating after each addition until smooth. Generously frosts a 13x9-inch cake.

Tips from the Betty Crocker Kitchens

  • tip 1
To soften butter, cut in small pieces and leave at room temperature. A faster method is to microwave butter in 5-second intervals, turning the butter frequently so butter is softened but not melted.
  • tip 2
Try crunchy peanut butter instead of creamy for extra crunch!
  • tip 3
Be sure to scrape side of bowl occasionally while mixing so all ingredients get incorporated.
