Love it or hate it—and there are plenty of people on both sides!—this is the Betty recipe that got everyone talking in 2015.

Inspired by the popularity of recipe hacks all over the Internet, we decided to dream up a few of our own in the Betty Crocker test kitchens. Most were big hits, like our Cake Mix Monster Cookies and Two-Ingredient Soda Pop Cupcakes but for better or worse, it was our Three-Ingredient Lemon Loaf that got all the attention and sparked Loaf-gate 2015. Fans on both sides took to the site to let us know what they thought and it was almost a 50/50 split. Try it for yourself and tell us what you think; odds are you’ll either love it or hate it.
