It doesn't get any easier than two-ingredient cupcakes! For best results, use a fruit-flavored carbonated beverage, such as orange, grape, strawberry or lemon-lime.

    Heat oven to 375°F (350°F for dark or nonstick pans). Place a paper baking cup in each of 24 regular-size muffin cups.

    In a large bowl, beat dry cake mix and carbonated beverage with an electric mixer on medium speed for 2 minutes, scraping the side of the bowl occasionally. Divide batter evenly among muffin cups.

    Bake 14 to 19 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. Cool in the pans for 10 minutes. Remove from the pans to a cooling rack; cool completely, about 30 minutes. Spread frosting on cupcakes. Store loosely covered at room temperature.
