DIY Jam Cocktail Kit

It’s 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Your neighbor’s holiday party starts in an hour and you haven’t even begun to think about a hostess gift. You want to give something festive and, of course, it has to be personal, but the thought of running through the mall may very well give you hives. We’ve been there, we get it. To the rescue, we present this fun and easy DIY Jam-hattan cocktail kit. 

Here’s how it works: First, print off our exclusive (free!) suite of printable labels and corresponding recipe card and cut ’em out. Next, find a small box or crate, and fill it with bottles of bourbon, vermouth and bitters—all readily available at your neighborhood liquor store—and complete the kit with a jar of your favorite cherry jam (tart or sweet varieties both work great) and an orange. Tie or tape the labels onto their respective bottles (don’t forget the recipe card and a personalized note!) and voila, you’re on your way out the door, on time, with a unique gift in tow.
