Taste Test: Progresso Chili

We served our editors a piping hot helping of Progresso’s two new chili flavors: here’s what they thought.

The product: Progresso Chili, in two flavors:  Smokehouse Pork and Beef and Southwest Style White Chicken Chili

What we thought: Both varieties were packed with tons of flavor and plenty of beans, making each a satisfyingly complete meal. With a slightly smoky flavor, the Pork and Beef called for a dollop of sour cream and some shredded cheddar, while the smoother, Southwest-style White Chicken paired nicely with simple tortilla chips.

Goes well with: Freshly baked cornbread made using Betty Crocker Cornbread Mix. Some of our favorite recipes include this mouth-watering Maple Butter Cornbread or our Easy Jalapeño Cheddar Cornbread that delivers a delicious kick.
