Executive editor Erin Madsen grew up on a resort in Minnesota’s lake country, where she developed a love of penny candy and fresh walleye. She’s always been surrounded by food—from helping her Danish grandparents hang homemade noodles on wire coat hangers to roasting a whole hog at her barn wedding. When not cooking, eating or writing about food, Erin is often walking the banks of the Mississippi with her husband, Joshua, and their greyhound, Barb.
