At the first glimpse of spring, I fire up my grill and begin barbecuing away! Grilling is healthy and offers many flavor combinations. It’s the sweet spot of summer. Many of our evenings are spent grilling and eating outside. We end up lingering outdoors all evening.
I don’t want to miss out on the fun. Who wants to be inside while everyone is outside? So I try to make dishes that can be made ahead or out at the grill. From appetizer to dessert, the entire meal can be prepared outdoors.
Recently, I grilled strawberries and tomatoes for a bruschetta appetizer. Besides the wonderful flavor combination, it was such a pretty first course.
