cup packed brown sugar

cup prepared horseradish

fully cooked smoked pork chops, about 1/2 inch thick (about 1 1/4 pounds)

    Heat coals or gas grill for direct heat. Heat brown sugar, horseradish and lemon juice to boiling in 1-quart saucepan, stirring constantly. Brush on pork.

    Cover and grill pork 4 to 6 inches from medium-high heat about 15 minutes, turning once, until hot. Serve remaining sauce with pork.

Expert Tips

  • Set oven control to broil. Place pork on rack in broiler pan. Broil with tops 4 to 6 inches from heat 3 minutes; turn. Broil 3 to 5 minutes longer or until hot.
  • For a complete grilled meal, cut zucchini lengthwise in half, brush with oil, season with salt and pepper and grill with the pork chops. Add buttered French bread for the last 3 to 5 minutes of grilling.
