Turtle-Stuffed Brownie Bites

These irresistible brownie bites are stuffed with chewy caramel and topped with crunchy pecans.

    Heat oven to 350°F. Place mini paper baking cup in each of 42 mini muffin cups.
  • 2
    Make brownie batter as directed on box. Fill muffin cups about three-fourths full. Bake about 10 minutes or until edges are just barely baked; middles should still be gooey.
  • 3
    Gently press a caramel into center of each; top with a whole pecan. Bake about 10 minutes longer or until caramels are melted and brownies are baked.

  • tip 1
    Chopped pecans also work for this recipe! You’ll need a small sprinkle, about 1/2 teaspoon per brownie bite. Other nuts would be great, too.
  • tip 2
    Be sure to unwrap the caramels before you begin baking, so you’re not scrambling to do so when it comes time to place them into the brownies.
