Ingredients

  • 2 medium or 3 small sweet potatoes, peeled, cut into 1/2-inch strips
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 6 teaspoons Old El Paso™ taco seasoning mix (from 1-oz package)

Steps

  • 1
Heat oven to 350°F. In large bowl, toss sweet potatoes with oil and taco seasoning mix until coated. Spread potatoes in single layer on ungreased cookie sheet.
  • 2
Bake 20 to 30 minutes, turning once or twice, until potatoes are lightly browned and tender.

  • For the crispiest fries, make sure the potatoes bake in a single layer.
  • Add some taco seasoning to ketchup or mayonnaise for a taco-flavored dipper to go with your fries.
  • For a fun serving presentation, wrap the fries restaurant-style in a cone of brown paper or cooking parchment paper.
