Spiced Bulgur-and-Barley Balls

Ingredients
- 2 1/4 cups cooked bulgur
- 1 1/2 cups cooked barley
- 1/4 cup milk
- 2 tablespoons dry bread crumbs
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
- 1/4 teaspoon ground allspice
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1/4 cup ground walnuts
- 2 tablespoons margarine or butter
Instructions

Step1Mix all ingredients except walnuts and margarine. Shape mixture into 1-inch balls. Roll balls in walnuts.

Step2Melt margarine in 10-inch skillet over medium-high heat. Cook balls in margarine 10 to 12 minutes, turning frequently, until light brown.
