A cousin to ice cream novelties, these easy-to-prepare treats taste like a crunchy orange and vanilla frozen treat. Tangy, sweet orange sherbet and creamy vanilla ice cream are layered between prepared white snack cakes and crushed sugar cones, for a refreshing take on ice cream dessert with a delightfully crunchy twist.

From our A Piece of Cake cookbook, this recipe is a perfect treat to have on hand on a summer day. It’s a cinch to put together with just a few hands-off periods in the freezer.

Keep the ingredients on hand to whip up this recipe any time. Enlist the kiddos to help to crush the ice cream cones and spread the softened sherbet and ice cream, and dessert will be ready when you are!
