Ingredients

  • 1 pouch (17.5 oz) Betty Crocker™ Chocolate Chip Cookie Mix
  • 1 Cup Quick oats
  • 1 Cup melted butter
  • 4 cups miniature marshmallows
  • 50 caramels unwrapped
  • 1 (14 oz) can sweetened condensed milk
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 (3.5 oz) bag butter flavored popcorn, popped
  • 1 Cup party peanuts
  • 1 Cup semisweet chocolate chips

    Preheat oven to 350°F. Spray a 13x9x2 inch pan with non-stick cooking spray. Pop, popcorn according to package directions.

    In large mixing bowl with electric mixer; mix together cookie mix, quick oats and butter, until crumbly. Press into 13x9x2 inch pan and bake 12 - 15 minutes or until edges are golden brown.

    Top hot crust with miniature marshmallows and place back in oven for 2 minutes or until marshmallows begin to puff.

    In 3-quart sauce pan over medium-low heat stir together caramels, sweetened condensed milk, butter and vanilla until smooth.

    Pour popcorn into large roasting pan, being careful to remove unpopped kernels. Pour caramel mixture over popped corn and mix well. Spoon caramel corn mixture over marshmallows and top with peanuts, gently press down into pan.

    In small microwave safe bowl melt chocolate chips on high 1 minute. Remove chocolate chips from microwave and stir, if chocolate chips are not completely smooth microwave another 30 seconds and stir until smooth. Drizzle melted chocolate evenly over top of peanuts.

    Chill for about 1 hour before cutting. Cut bars into 5 rows by 6 rows.
