Ingredients

Steps

  • 1
Heat oven to 375°F. Empty cookie mix into large bowl. Break up lumps in mix with spoon. Stir in oil and egg until soft dough forms.
  • 2
Shape dough into 1-inch balls; roll in sugar. Place about 2 inches apart on ungreased cookie sheet.
  • 3
Bake 10 to 12 minutes or until light brown. Immediately place 1 chocolate candy on each cookie, pressing down so that cookie cracks around the edge.
  • 4
Cool 2 minutes; remove from cookie sheet to wire rack. Cool completely; store in airtight container as soon as cooled.

Tips from the Betty Crocker Kitchens

  • tip 1
Cruise the candy aisle for different varieties of milk chocolate candies. Some blend white and milk chocolate together or hide nuts inside. These candies can make cookies that are as fun to look at as they are to eat.
  • tip 2
Get the kids to help with this cookie favorite. They'll love to unwrap the candies and press them into the cookies.
