Lavender Lemonade

Ingredients

  • 5 cups water
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 tablespoon dried lavender*
  • Juice of 4 lemons (about 1 cup)
  • Ice cubes

Steps

    In small saucepan, stir together 1 cup of the water, the sugar and lavender with whisk. Cook and stir over medium heat until sugar dissolves. Remove from heat; let stand 10 minutes.

    Pour lemon juice into pitcher. Strain sugar syrup into pitcher, discarding lavender. Add remaining 4 cups water; stir well. Add ice to pitcher or individual glasses for serving.
