A sweet citrus marinade infuses fresh strawberries with fantastic flavor that tastes great with creamy ice cream.

Ingredients

  • 1 quart (4 cups) fresh strawberries
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1/4 cup orange-flavored liqueur or orange juice
  • 1 quart strawberry or vanilla ice cream

Steps

    Cut strawberries in half; place in large bowl. Sprinkle with powdered sugar and liqueur; stir gently. Cover and refrigerate about 2 hours.
