Ingredients

cups uncooked regular long-grain white or brown rice
1/4
cup parsley flakes

tablespoons chicken or beef bouillon granules

teaspoons onion powder

teaspoon dried rosemary leaves, crushed
1/2
teaspoon garlic powder
1/2
teaspoon dried thyme leaves

    In container with tight-fitting lid, mix all ingredients until well blended; cover. Store in cool, dry place up to 6 months. Stir well before each use.

Expert Tips

  • To make 6 servings: In 2-quart saucepan, heat 2 cups water and 1 tablespoon butter or margarine to boiling. Add 1 cup Homemade Herbed Rice Mix (stir well before measuring). Reduce heat. Cover; simmer 15 to 20 minutes (for white rice) or 45 to 50 minutes (for brown rice) or until rice is tender and liquid is absorbed. Fluff with fork before serving.
