Ingredients

  • 1 1/2
    teaspoons dried oregano leaves
  • 1
    teaspoon garlic pepper
  • 1/2
    teaspoon salt
  • 1/2
    teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2
    teaspoon chili powder
  • 1/8
    teaspoon ground red pepper (cayenne)

    Mix all ingredients.

    Spread rub evenly on 1 pound boneless meat (pork or beef). Cover and refrigerate 15 minutes. Grill meat as desired.

  • Because this dry rub uses no oil, it adds no extra fat to your food. This is a great low-fat way to cook lean meat!
  • Chili powder is actually a blend of seasonings such as garlic, oregano, cumin, coriander, cloves and dried chiles.
