Updated February 24, 2010

Ingredients

  • 1 container (8 oz) fat-free cream cheese spread (1 cup), softened
  • 2 oz feta cheese, crumbled (1/2 cup)
  • 1 oz blue cheese, crumbled (1/4 cup)
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried basil leaves
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried rosemary leaves, crushed
  • 1 tablespoon finely chopped chives or green onion tops
  • 2 red or green apples or pears, cut into 20 slices each, or assorted crackers

Steps

  • 1
In medium bowl, beat cream cheese, feta cheese, blue cheese, basil and rosemary with electric mixer on medium speed, or with spoon until well mixed.
  • 2
Cover; refrigerate about 2 hours or until thoroughly chilled.
  • 3
To serve, place in serving bowl; sprinkle with chives. Serve with fruit or crackers.

  • Instead of serving this creamy dip in a dish, spoon it onto a large sheet of plastic wrap and create a log. Refrigerate until firm, about 2 hours.
  • If you'd prefer to use fresh herbs, use 1 teaspoon chopped fresh basil leaves and 1 teaspoon finely chopped fresh rosemary.
