Green Chile-Avocado Dip

Ingredients

  • 1 large avocado, pitted, peeled and cubed
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1 can (4.5 oz) Old El Paso™ chopped green chiles
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh cilantro
  • 1 clove garlic, finely chopped
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Tortilla chips, as desired

Steps

  • 1
    In medium bowl, mash avocado with fork. Stir in sour cream, chiles, cilantro and garlic. Season to taste with salt and pepper.
  • 2
    Serve dip with tortilla chips.

  • Dip is best the same day it is prepared, or the avocado will start to discolor.
  • For more heat, add some diced jalapeño chiles.
