This fruity, gluten-free sauce combines the fantastic sweet flavors of pomegranates with tart cranberries - a perfect side accompaniment to your Thanksgiving or holiday meal.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup 100% pomegranate juice
  • 1/2 cup orange juice
  • 1/4 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 bag (12 oz) fresh cranberries (3 cups)

Steps

    In 3-quart saucepan, heat juices and sugars over medium heat until sugar is dissolved.
  • 2
    Add cranberries; cook and stir about 10 minutes or until cranberries start to pop. Cook a little longer for thicker sauce.
  • 3
    Pour into bowl; refrigerate until cold, about 1 hour. Sauce will thicken as it cools. Serve cold.
