Ingredients

  • 1 medium onion, chopped (1/2 cup)
  • 1/2 medium green bell pepper, chopped (1/2 cup)
  • (1/2 lb) 97%-fat-free smoked turkey kielbasa, quartered lengthwise, sliced
  • 1 can (14.5 oz) no salt-added stewed tomatoes
  • 1 1/2 cups water
  • 2 cups uncooked instant rice
  • Frank's™ RedHot™ Original cayenne pepper sauce, if desired

Steps

    Heat 10-inch nonstick skillet over medium-high heat. Add onion and bell pepper; cover and cook, stirring once, until vegetables are crisp-tender.

    Stir in kielbasa, tomatoes and water. Heat to boiling. Stir in rice; return to boiling. Reduce heat to low; cook about 5 minutes or until rice is tender. Fluff with fork before serving. If desired, serve with red pepper sauce.
