cup Land O Lakes® Butter with Olive Oil & Sea Salt, softened
cloves garlic, finely chopped
teaspoon dried oregano leaves
Pepper to taste
cups shredded mozzarella cheese (8 oz)
loaf (1 lb) French bread

    Heat oven to 400°F. In medium bowl, mix butter, garlic, oregano and pepper until thoroughly combined. Stir in cheese.

    Cut loaf of bread in half horizontally. Spread butter mixture over bottom half of bread; cover with top half. Wrap loaf tightly in foil.

    Bake 20 minutes or until cheese is melted and bread is warmed through. Cut into slices to serve.

Expert Tips

  • You’ll want to make sure the garlic is very finely chopped for this recipe. A Microplane® grater works well for finely grating garlic.
  • If you don’t like garlic, you can omit it and add your favorite herb instead.
