Ingredients

  • 3/4 cup crumbled blue cheese (3 oz)
  • 1 package (3 oz) cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise or salad dressing
  • 1/3 cup half-and-half

Steps

  • 1
Reserve 1/3 cup of the blue cheese. In small bowl, mix remaining blue cheese and the cream cheese until well blended.
  • 2
Stir in mayonnaise and half-and-half until creamy. Stir in reserved 1/3 cup blue cheese. Cover and refrigerate at least 3 hours to blend flavors. Store covered in refrigerator.

Tips from the Betty Crocker Kitchens

  • tip 1
For 3 grams of fat and 35 calories per serving, decrease blue cheese to 1/2 cup. Substitute 1/2 package (8-oz size) reduced-fat cream cheese (Neufchâtel) for the regular cream cheese and 1/4 cup fat-free (skim) milk for the half-and-half. Use reduced-fat mayonnaise.
